In collaboration with our friends at Straight to the Source we were joined by chefs for an exclusive regional produce tour! With a private tour lead by Judy Croagh at the award-winning Western Plains Pork in central Victoria, chefs had an up close experience learning about innovation in Australian farming that is committed to consistently producing nutritious pork using production systems that are simple ethical, humane and environmentally sound. Truffle hunting with Black Truffles Group and a Charcuterie demonstration by Salt Kitchen added to the fun and experience.
The delicious long table lunch showcased Australia’s amazing local pork and charcuterie. With a beautiful selection of wines, ales and sunshine the tour was a great day out in beautiful Victoria!⠀⠀
